Lead Cloud & DevOps Engineer (AWS / Kubernetes / Terraform)
Drive cloud infrastructure modernization, multi-cluster Kubernetes orchestration, and automated GitOps pipelines for a prominent national logistics organisation.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Design and maintain scalable AWS multi-account landing zones utilizing Terraform and AWS Organizations.
- Manage enterprise Kubernetes clusters (EKS), ingress routing, service mesh, and observability stacks.
- Establish automated GitOps pipelines (ArgoCD / GitHub Actions) to streamline developer deployments.
- Partner with Cyber Security teams to enforce ACSC Essential Eight compliance and automated security scanning.
- Provide technical leadership during incident post-mortems and proactive capacity planning.
Candidate Requirements & Vetting Criteria
- Proven track record in a Senior or Lead DevOps / Platform Engineering capacity in Australia.
- Extensive experience with AWS services, Terraform modular design, and Kubernetes orchestration (EKS/Helm).
- Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Go).
- Deep understanding of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) and zero-downtime release strategies.
