5G Radio Access Network (RAN) Optimisation Specialist
12-month contract delivering 5G NR and LTE cluster optimisation, drive test analysis, and radio parameter tuning across metro Sydney.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Analyse cellular network KPIs (accessibility, retainability, throughput, latency) across 5G NSA/SA clusters.
- Conduct radio parameter tuning, neighbour list optimization, and handover threshold adjustments.
- Review drive test logs (Nemo / TEMS) to identify coverage holes and inter-frequency interference.
- Provide regular performance reporting to senior network management.
Candidate Requirements & Vetting Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications / Electrical Engineering or relevant trade qualification.
- Demonstrated experience optimizing 5G NR and LTE radio networks (Ericsson or Nokia RAN platform).
- Proficiency with RF propagation tools and post-processing software (Atoll, Actix, MapInfo).
- Current Australian work authorization.
